The patented Smart Pump™ is the most precise micro dispense pump on the market. The SmartPump™ controls, to an industry leading level, starts, stops and material flow for an extreme range of viscosities. It uses positive pressure and a computer controlled needle valve. The computer controlled needle valve provides active valving and suck-back to control flow characteristics during start, stop and a wide range of other direct print scenerios.
Depending on the pump chosen, the dead volume inside the SmartPump™ ranges from 0.025 cubic-centimeter (cc) to 0.1 cc. With these features and degrees of control, it is possible to dispense very small volumes of material — down to 20 pico-liters — and a range of viscosities from 1 centipoise to over 1 million centipoise for your direct print needs.
